94:22 But the Lord will protect me, ¹ 

and my God will shelter me. ² 

Mazmur 107:25

107:25 He gave the order for a windstorm, ³ 

and it stirred up the waves of the sea. ⁴ 

[94:22]  ¹ tn Heb “and the Lord has become my elevated place.” The prefixed verbal form with vav (ו) consecutive is used in a rhetorical sense, describing an anticipated development as if it were already reality.

[94:22]  ² tn Heb “and my God [has become] a rocky summit of my safety.”

[107:25]  ³ tn Heb “he spoke and caused to stand a stormy wind.”

[107:25]  ⁴ tn Heb “and it stirred up its [i.e., the sea’s, see v. 23] waves.”
